Elementary Students Explore, Create, and Serve

Elementary students at Hernando Christian Academy have been actively engaged in hands-on learning, field experiences, and meaningful service opportunities.

First-grade students recently visited the Florida Aquarium, bringing classroom lessons to life through real-world exploration. Meanwhile, second-grade students combined outdoor learning and fun through activities ranging from strawberry picking to field day events.

Younger students also enjoyed creative celebrations like a Disney-themed parade, while members of the National Elementary Honor Society demonstrated leadership through service at a local church.

In the classroom, students continue to dive into engaging subjects, including history lessons on Civil War soldier letters and STEM-based projects like building and using solar ovens.

These experiences reflect HCA’s commitment to developing well-rounded students through academics, creativity, and service.
