Welcome to Hernando Christian Academy.  The administrative team of Cathy McAllister, Elementary Principal, Andrea Rinard, Upper School Principal, Matt Carrao, Director of Operations and myself, Ken Alvarez, Superintendent want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to present some exciting information.  We highly value parents choosing to entrust us with being their partner in the growth and development of their children.  We take that responsibility very seriously and commit our best to them. 

One of our primary goals is to have outstanding communication with you.  Edline is a prime source of information, and this resource will have even more available this year.  Mr. Carrao has worked hard to provide this useful tool with additional items all families will need.  This year you will find weekly assignments, grades and tuition bills.  We will continue to send email reminders of upcoming activities, and we will also be emailing a weekly report that will include absences and tardies to date, lunchroom account information as well as any discipline issues involving your child.  Our monthly newsletter, The Lion's Ledger, will continue to be posted and archived online and can be found on our newly designed school website, www.hernandochristian.org. 

As a community of educators, the staff, faculty and administrative team at HCA continue to work toward providing your children with the spiritual development, extra-curricular opportunities and academic excellence that parents have come to expect and depend upon from us.  This holistic approach to educating the whole child continues to be reflected in our above-average test scores, the living faith experiences, athletic and academic successes, and in our families.
