Every Tuesday is paper collection day at HCA.  Please bring your recyclable paper to the drop off ring each Tuesday, and one of our Safety Patrol members will be happy to ensure it gets to our recycling bin.  This program helps raise funds for the school and we appreciate your help in making it successful.

Monday January 30th is our annual Board meeting.  It will be held from 7:00 - 9:00 pm in the gym. 

We will kick off our annual Serve-a-thon on Wednesday, February 1st in chapel.

Thursday, February 2nd is our Science Fair.  Parents are welcome to come view the projects after the judging is final at 2:00. 

February 2nd is also Coney Island Night. 

In addition Thursday February 2nd, our preschool classes will be taking a field trip to the local airport to coincide with their Transportation Unit, followed by lunch at Chick-Fil-A. 

**IMPORTANT 5th GRADE INFORMATION**  Lastly, on Thursday, February 2nd, we will hold our annual Rising 6th grade meeting.  Here is a unique opportunity to sit down with the other parents in your child's 5th grade class and the administrators and bring up any questions and concerns that you have.  It's also a great opportunity for you to hear the exciting opportunities that will be available to your child in Middle school.  Please plan to attend.  The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
